We shine a light on the modern father of only girls, promote fun with our children & raise funds for charities.

What is FOGs?

Fathers of Girls (FOGs) is a nonprofit organisation made up of a group of fathers of only girls.  We are focused on creating a network of like minded fathers, who share experiences and learnings as we navigate a life with daughters.

We come together annually over lunch with the aim of raising money for local organisations that support girls in a positive and encouraging manner – something we all want for our daughters.

Every year we line up an inspirational guest speaker aligned to the core values of FOGs.  Find out more About Us by clicking the button below and then have a read of our Charter.

Join us at the FOGs 9th Annual Charity Lunch!

We are excited to announce our talented guest speaker, Dr Justin Coulson, for our 9th annual charity lunch in Brisbane on the 26th of October!

Over the past decade Justin has helped countless families with his 9 books about raising children, his hundreds of media appearances, and his two virtual videos that have been viewed a combined 85 million times.

FOGs Annual Lunch

The FOGs Charity Lunch stands as our premier annual event, combining prestige, purpose, and passion. This significant fundraiser gathers like-minded fathers for a lunch event of learning, laughter, and giving back, all in support of underprivileged girls in our community.

Since its inception in 2016, FOGs has proudly raised $155,000 for the Confident Girls Foundation, with our Charity Lunch playing a crucial role. Your support can help us amplify our impact.

We warmly welcome donations of vouchers and prizes for our raffle. If you’re inspired to contribute or want to learn more, please get in touch. Together, we can make a difference.

Proudly Supporting

Confident Girls Foundation Thank you December 2023

The continued support from the Fathers of Girls has seen over $155,000 in donations to the Confident Girls Foundation.

The work that we are able to do with this support is incredible. It’s hard to describe, but what I’ve noticed in my time as chair, is that because of significant amounts of money like that, we’ve been able to change not only the number of girls that we reach, but the type of work that we deliver.

Our programs are no longer one day events or one off occasions. We are now able to deliver programs that run over longer periods of time with repeated exposure to opportunity. We know that confidence grows when girls have opportunities to thrive. When building programs for our community we try to aim for a long time, not a good time. We aim to create sustainable change in a girl’s confidence.

The generous financial support of the FOGs has enabled us to do more and more community work of that nature over the last four to five years, it’s been a big shift for us.

The impact that comes from our national programs can be life changing. The girls that participate may be introduced to sport for the first time, or finding sport and community as a life-saving outlet.

We can’t ever underestimate the impact that we have as a collective to provide these opportunities to others.

It still gives me enormous pleasure to know that one of our largest group of supporters is a group of dads who are not only doing the work to be the best dads possible for their own girls, but you’re affecting this whole population of girls that don’t have dads, don’t have time with their dads, or don’t have dads that have got incomes that allow them to do extra-curricular activities. The FOGs have two sets of daughters that you’re doing wonderful, wonderful things for. Your own, and the ones you may never meet but who’s lives you are changing.

On behalf of the board and the girls, thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts.
